Welcome to 50 Photos

50 Photos is a project started by Nate Ritter (blog) with the intention of helping awesome photographers get paid for their work. Nate doesn’t consider himself an awesome photographer, but he loves great art.

So, what we do here is create limited-run high quality photo books for your coffee tables. Nate believes these photographs are so good, they should be cherished. Most of these photographs have never seen printed pages before. These are the goods below the radar, and they are beautiful.

This project begins with the theme “Old”. There is a 50 print limit to the books. Each photographer is given $1.00 per photograph each time a book is sold. The photographer still retains their rights to the images and most, if not all, are licensed under a Creative Commons license. Attribution is given to each photographer for their work in the book.

If you enjoy quality photography or know someone who does, please purchase a book. It will be memorable and touching. The limited number of books per theme will ensure a unique gift.
